Management and staff from the Greene King, Barley Farm Pub and Restaurant at Barton brought a timely cheer to the hardworking and dedicated NHS Staff at Salford Royal Hospital (formerly Hope Hospital).
Everyone likes a slice of cake and Barley Farm are famous for their tasty slices! As they have had to close during the current COVID-19 crisis they decided to donate all their cake to give the staff at the hospital a bit of lift.
Barley Farm general manager Christopher Davies said, “We took around 60 individually boxed slices of cake down to the hospital to give our amazing NHS staff a little bit of a lift. The cake went down really well, our small way of showing that we are all behind the hospital staff and the amazing job they continue to do.”
