PCSOs Recover Stolen Van

A stolen silver Ford Transit Van has been returned to the owners after sharp-eyed Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) spotted the vehicle.

Whilst out on patrol in Irlam, local PCSO Mark Hutton and PCSO Paul Greenhalgh came across the van (pictured) on Curlew Drive. Checks revealed it was stolen in May from Eccles. The van and its rightful owner have been reunited.

PCSO Mark Hutton added, “We have resurrected the Irlam Train Station ‘drop-in sessions’ starting from this Wednesday 5th August between 6pm – 7pm. We will obviously have the session set up to comply with social distancing advice and best practice.”
