PCSOs Uncover Local Drug Den

Local Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) have uncovered a local site, that is believed to have been used as a drug taking den.

PCSOs Paul Greenhalgh, Mark Hutton and Nigel Kirk have been on foot patrol in the Irlam and Cadishead area. One of the told the Local mag, “We were flagged down to report a fire underneath Sandy Lane Bridge, on closer inspection, we located a smouldering fire and numerous Nitrous Oxide canisters, used snap bags and other drug paraphernalia.

Now we’re aware of the location, we’ll be giving it a lot of attention and also informing the Cadishead PCSOs. Any person caught in the location using or in possession of drug will be dealt with accordingly.” You have been warned.
