The Trudent Dental Clinic based in Irlam, have really stepped up to the plate to help local elderly and vulnerable residents who have been advised to ‘shield’ and stay indoors as part of the lock-down during these worrying times.
Trudent Clinic, based at 557 Liverpool Road in Irlam, has had to close their offices and consulting rooms due to government advice. They have managed to literally bring a ‘smile’ back to local residents with their offer of free collection, repair and return of dentures.
Jackie from Trudent told the Local Mag, “We are a local company and local people who just wanted to help our community and look after local residents during these difficult times because of the Coronavirus.”
Cadishead resident Jean Parker said, “I cannot believe what a fantastic job the Trudent team have done for me. I thought I would have to wait months to get my repair done due to being in lock-down. But Trudent picked up my damaged dentures, made the repair and returned the next day, all free of charge, brilliant and really community spirited, thank you.”
Jackie added, “Obviously we are incorporating and observing all the latest government instructions and advice on social distancing whilst carrying out the work. If you are or know of an elderly or vulnerable local resident, in need of a denture repair, and they are unable to get out during the Coronavirus lock-down give us a ring on 0161 222 9480 and we will arrange to pick up your dentures and get them repaired within 24 hours and back to them, all for free.”
A fantastic service from a fantastic local company. Well done!
